AGD Equipment supply cranes and rigs for M25 Piling Contract

CMP/Barker JV choose AGD Rental for M25 widening contract

Sheet piling sub-contractors Commercial Marine & Piling/Kim Barker Construction Joint Venture were recently awarded a contract by Balfour Beatty/Skanska to install sheet piled walls on the M25 widening scheme in Hertfordshire.

AGD Rental were chosen to supply all of the telescopic crawler cranes for the contract plus some telescopic leader piling rigs to bolster CMP/Barkers fleets where necessary.

At the height of the programme AGD supplied a total of 8 units IHI telescopic crawler cranes and 2 units RTG telescopic leader piling rigs. The contract started in 2009 and is ongoing with regular visits varying from 2 to 10 machines and will extend well into 2011.
